This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are really interested in making and creating houses, bridges, and buildings. The materials I’m asking for would be used in the block center where they can build and create buildings. They are also interested in building tree houses. With the materials, they would be able to create tree houses and use the woodland animals that live in trees to engage in pretend play. The students could use the fort to build the coliseum as well as other types of famous buildings. Students will also be increasing their vocabulary by learning parts of buildings and their functions.
