My Project
Our 6th grade classroom is expanding, and so is our students' passion for reading! As our classroom community grows, so does the need for more space and resources. Currently, our book cubbies are made from cardboard mail sorters that struggle to hold up against daily use. They’re not designed for the growing number of books and materials we need to accommodate our curious and enthusiastic readers. We’re seeking donations for a sturdy, wooden book cubby that will provide a lasting solution for organizing and showcasing our work.
By providing them with the right tools—new cubbies and a range of captivating books—you can help us create a space that supports their growth, creativity, and love of learning.
These new cubbies will not only hold more books, but also create an inviting and organized space where students can easily access materials and find new stories to explore. With your help, we can create a learning environment that fosters a love of reading, sparks curiosity, and supports our students in becoming lifelong learners.
In addition to the new cubbies, we also hope to fill our shelves with fresh, engaging, and educational books that reflect the diverse interests and backgrounds of our students. Our goal is to build a vibrant library that offers something for everyone, whether they’re into science fiction, history, or fantasy. We want to inspire every student to find joy in reading and to explore new ideas.
My students are special because they are eager, imaginative, and always ready to dive into new challenges. They deserve a classroom library that reflects their potential and enthusiasm.
