My Project
My 1st grade students are bright, curious, and full of energy. They come to school every day eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges. What makes them special is their resilience and their love for hands-on learning. They thrive when lessons are interactive, visual, and engaging and they light up with excitement when they can actively participate.
"The dry erase magnetic whiteboard will make a huge difference in our daily instruction." For writing, it will allow me to model sentence structure, punctuation, and word building in a clear and interactive way.
For math, I can use magnetic numbers and shapes to demonstrate equations, patterns, and problem-solving strategies. Students will benefit from seeing concepts come to life in front of them, making it easier to understand and retain new information. It will also provide a flexible space for small group instruction and student-led activities.
My goal for this project is to create a more engaging and effective learning environment. I want to give my students tools that support their learning styles and help them build strong foundations in reading, writing, and math. With this whiteboard, I can provide the visual support and modeling they need to become more confident, independent learners. This resource will help us make every lesson meaningful, memorable, and fun.
