This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Lakeshore items we're requesting hold the potential to revolutionize our students' learning experience. These carefully selected items are not merely classroom supplies; they are tools for engagement, exploration, and skill development. The alphabet play dough offer a tactile and immersive way for students to learn letters. The giant magnetic draw & write page fosters collaboration as they communicate visually. The giant magnetic number of the day chart transforms abstract mathematical concepts into tangible learning experiences. Word family practice cards enhance their phonics skills. The See & Solve math center encourages critical thinking and problem-solving. The Find the Number activity center cultivates attention to detail and spatial reasoning, strengthening their number recognition skills. Lastly, the jumbo double-sided magnetic money set introduces practical financial knowledge through visuals.
Our primary goal through this project is to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of our students.
We aim to foster a deep and lasting understanding of key concepts by leveraging these Lakeshore materials. Each student brings a distinct perspective to the classroom, enriching our collective learning experience. Our students' diverse learning styles and individual strengths motivate us to create an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
