it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love most about my students is their boundless creativity and their eagerness to explore the world around them. They have a wonderful ability to use their imaginations to build, create, and problem-solve, whether they're constructing intricate designs with blocks or dreaming up new inventions. I am constantly amazed at how they collaborate and support each other, especially when a friend needs help. Their willingness to share resources and work together makes our classroom feel like a true community of learners.
How Each Resource Will Help Them Learn:
The resources I’ve chosen for this project – including LEGO sets, magnetic blocks, and toy building blocks – will provide them with endless opportunities to explore engineering, design, and problem-solving in a hands-on way. These toys allow them to think critically, experiment, and create structures, all while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
The social-emotional books will help my students develop empathy, resilience, and self-awareness, equipping them with the emotional tools they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom. Finally, the books that align with their individual interests will spark their curiosity and motivate them to read.
These resources will not only enhance their learning experience but will also support their growth as creative thinkers, compassionate friends, and confident learners.
