Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are naturally curious and full of potential! Their eyes light up when they get to build, create, and explore how things work. They are eager to tackle challenges and collaborate on projects. However, our limited resources often restrict these crucial hands-on learning opportunities.
The Simple STEAM book will provide a wealth of accessible and engaging activities that integrate science, technology, engineering, art, and math in fun ways, fostering a deeper understanding of these interconnected subjects.
The House Building Engineering Center will allow them to experiment with structural design, learn about stability, and develop spatial reasoning skills through tangible construction. Finally, the Building Brick STEM Challenge Kit will ignite their creativity and problem-solving abilities as they work through engineering challenges, encouraging teamwork and critical thinking.
These resources will transform our classroom into an exciting hub of discovery and innovation, empowering my students to become confident and capable learners.
