Building Bridges Through Cricket: A Call for Support
Help me give my students the ability to make a lasting impact that goes far beyond the cricket field, one that will resonate throughout the school and into the wider community.
At our school, we’re striving to create an all-inclusive cricket club, one that brings together new English language learners and refugees from a nearby camp. For these students, adjusting to a new country, culture, and language is a daunting task. Cricket, a sport loved worldwide, offers them an opportunity to bridge these gaps.
This club is about more than just playing a sport.
It’s about fostering communication, teamwork, and a sense of belonging. For students facing language barriers, cricket provides a relaxed, supportive environment where they can practice English, make friends, and feel part of a community. Teamwork on the cricket field translates into real-world skills, helping them grow in confidence and develop essential life skills like leadership and collaboration.
But we need your help to make this a reality. Your donation will provide the equipment, coaching, and resources necessary to ensure every student, regardless of their background, can participate. By supporting this club, you’re not just funding a team—you’re giving these students a vital space for connection and inclusion.
Help us build bridges through cricket. Together, we can create a brighter, more inclusive future for these students, both on and off the field.
