My students need 30 copies of the book "Whipping Boy" by Sid Fleischman.

I teach 4th grade and I love it. Since our school is new, we do not have the funds to purchase class-leveled books.

Boys, Boys Boys. . . I have a class of 30 students, and 22 of them are BOYS. It is hard to find books that will keep their attention. I need books that have excitement and adventure, so my boys will take their time to read and enjoy them.

I love the book "Whipping Boy". It is on a 4th grade level which makes it easy to read as either a whole class or in small groups. The topic is exciting for 4th grade minds, lots of adventure and excitement to keep them wanting more.

I want to instill the love and power of reading in my students. I want them to be able to pick up any book and say "WOW, That was great!" Will you help our bare shelves come alive with the power of books?
