Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are bright, curious, and full of potential. Many of them are English Language Learners who bring rich cultural backgrounds and a strong desire to grow. They work hard every day to learn new words, build friendships, and explore the world around them—all while navigating a new language. What makes them truly special is their resilience, kindness, and eagerness to learn despite challenges.
These materials will help my students learn in ways that meet their unique needs.
Books will support vocabulary and social-emotional growth. Fidgets and flexible seating will help students stay focused and calm during learning. Headphones will allow for personalized, language-rich lessons, while crayons, markers, and STEM kits will encourage hands-on creativity and expression. My goal is to create a classroom where all students feel seen, supported, and excited to learn every day.
