Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students are excited to be in school. They are special because they work hard to first learn the language, then tackle academics with great zeal. They are joyful and fun loving. We are challenged with new curricula which include many different disciplines. My students are learning to share information with each other in various ways. Monthly birthday celebrations will help build friendships and create an effective learning environment.
The materials in this project will help my students build birthday buddies with social-emotional support.
The birthday badges with give recognition to each student on their special day. A gift of playdough and a treat will add emotional support and help create a positive environment that builds classroom buddies.
