My Project

Teaching three-year-olds means giving them opportunities to build, imagine, test ideas, and work together. Right now, our block area is filled with excitement—but we are missing large hollow blocks that allow children to build BIG and think BIG.

The Guidecraft Junior Hollow Block Set will give my preschoolers open-ended materials to create ramps, towers, bridges, homes, and anything else their imaginations dream up.

Hollow blocks are a foundational tool in early childhood STEM learning. Children naturally explore balance, weight, shapes, and cause-and-effect through hands-on play.

As a Title I school, many of my students do not have access to high-quality wooden blocks like these at home. Adding this set will support problem-solving, collaboration, creativity, gross-motor planning, and language development every single day.

My classroom is filled with energetic, curious 3-K learners who love to build and explore. They are thinkers, creators, and problem-solvers. Many are English Language Learners, and materials like these help them communicate and learn through play.
