Students will use their fine motor skills to create and build with their very own lego sets. Legos will be sorted into individually labeled easy zip bags for each student within our PreK classroom. Students can use these building tools as a calming activity or during choice time. Students will also have a sharing bin of legos to practice sharing and collaboration.
"My own lego bag" is a way to encourage independence and responsibility within the classroom.
Students will have the freedom to find their bag of legos and use them throughout their days. Building with legos is a fun activity that promotes creativity, hand-eye coordination, and confidence.
