it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My class of 24 kindergarten students live in the heart of Los Angeles! We are located in a small community in the north east area where everyone is like family. We have a little more than 300 students on campus and enjoy working in our green spaces. My class believes in teamwork and community building. We call ourselves, "Team Mighty little Eagles" because we work together and never give up on our goals.
Our class is always ready to work hard and become amazing life long learners.
We take on any challenge that comes our way. We are always supportive to one another and we never give up.

My Project
We have been remote learning for a little over a month now. We sing, dance and read lots of books, but something is missing. That hands-on experience. Those moments in the classroom where we get full of glue or the floor gets messy from building our master pieces. That exposure to fine motor skills and creativity is so important at this age and I do not want my kids to miss out on that.
I would love to send home Artist bags so that we may do virtual art projects instead of just staring at the electronic devices all day.
I apologize to the families in advance, but lets get a little messy! Paint, cut, glue, put wiggly eyes or pompoms and our little artist will come alive!
