This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students like to move around and want to experience real life events and examples to learn more. One way to teach ecosystem, which is one of the important topics in Biology, is to build aquarium and terrarium.

In this project, the students will be able to experience building their own aquarium to learn ecosystem, and to take responsibility on taking care of the fish and potential application on taking care of the environment.

The students will build their own aquarium and will identify the elements necessary to keep the fish alive. This will greatly help the students who learn best on experience and hands-on learning especially the students that need accommodations.
