Montessori lessons are child-centric and based on observations with specific respect for the child and human dignity. Dr. Montessori was radical educator at the time and her theory upon which our community is built allows teachers and students to have conversations about diversity, justice, and inclusion. The books and materials in the project give teachers a vehicle to talk, to integrate into the already existing lessons to broaden the voices contained within. These books will allow students to see all avenues of inclusion and give voice to marginalized groups more fully.
