Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My transitional kindergarten students bring energy and joy to our classroom daily.

They enter the virtual classroom bouncing and skipping, ready to embrace the day.

They are bright and curious and look forward to each new classroom experience. These young cherubs are thinkers, creators, problem solvers, and collaborators. I want to bring rich experiences and tap into their insatiable appetite and natural curiosity to learn. Providing them access to collaborative and innovative hands-on and heads-on learning in an exciting and motivating way while opening doors to the magic of school experience is essential.

Even though our class meets virtually for know . We are still a beautiful community of learners.

What better way to help build a caring community than by creating an environment of choice, empathy, and respect for one another than through a comfortable and rich learning environment with options.

I want to give them opportunities and tools that will help them as they continue to grow and learn.

My Project

These STEM blocks and rocks will allow my TK students to increase their science, technology, engineering, and math skills by using hands-on materials to stretch their thinking and creativity.

STEM activities challenge and engage students.

Students will be able to take a STEM building tools to their seat and create independently. Students will create and share their designs with our class. These materials will allow my students creative and open-ended tools to work on individually. These creative blocks allow my students to "play", explore, engineer, plan, cooperate, socialize, share, think critically, reflect and LEARN!

SCIENCE. TECHNOLOGY. ENGINEERING. MATHEMATICS. PLAY.
