Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These books will be a great addition to have in our classroom library. These fun books are really motivating my first graders to want to read! By having our own collection my students will have constant access to these books rather than having to check them out from our media center.
These books will provide my students with more practice in fluency, reading with expression and comprehension.
My students will also learn the importance of working hard and taking their time as they take comprehension tests for each book.As they pass each quiz they earn brag tags that represent the book they read! This will continue to motivate them as they work hard and become more proficient readers.
