This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello our English language program’s main focus is language support and language mechanics. However, a vast majority of our students remain ELL services due to a lack of foundational reading skills. I want to be able to support students in filling these gaps so, they can be successful in their language development.

With these materials our program will be able to offer phonics focused intervention to our English learning students and it will also support our newcomer students with transferring their Spanish reading skills over into English.

Please help us put hands on resources in the hands of our students to engage and build up their confidence in their reading abilities.
