This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Imagine a classroom where students don’t just learn about sustainability—they design it. With your support, my students will build a hands-on Sustainable City Model that brings science, engineering, and environmental stewardship to life.

This project will empower students to explore real-world solutions to climate change, urban planning, and resource conservation.

Using recycled materials, model-building supplies, and basic electronics (like solar panels and LED lights), students will create a scale model of a city that prioritizes clean energy, public transportation, green spaces, and waste reduction.

Through this interdisciplinary project, students will collaborate, think critically, and innovate—skills essential for the next generation of problem solvers. Your donation will fund the materials needed to transform our classroom into a hub of creativity, discovery, and sustainability.
