My Project
This is my first year as a special education ELA teacher! I need help with giving my students a classroom library filled with books based on their interests and reading levels. Many of my existing library books are fit for students with 6th-grade reading levels. While my students are in middle school, their reading levels range from 3rd to 5th grade.
My goal is to have a wide range of books within the fiction genre that will fuel their interest in ELA.
Books tend to seem like a challenge for them, but I want this year to change that. Books should be read for fun!
