Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our TK-2 Autism classroom, every student brings their own bright light, energy, and potential — they just need the right tools to shine!
Our students with special needs experience the world through sensory exploration and hands-on learning.
To help them grow, connect, and thrive, we are building a classroom that is fully adapted to their needs. We are asking for your support to bring in essential sensory and adaptive equipment: switch-enabled toys to encourage purposeful play, tactile sensory walls to promote exploration, adapted scissors to foster independence, fidgets to support focus, and many more critical tools.
For students with moderate to severe autism, access to sensory supports isn't just helpful — it’s vital. These materials will allow our students to engage with their environment, build communication skills, strengthen motor development, and participate meaningfully in daily activities.
Every item you help fund will open new doors:
A switch button toy could be a student's first independent choice.
A tactile wall panel could encourage calm, self-regulation, and communication.
Adapted art supplies could turn "I can't" into "I did it myself!"
