In my seventh-grade science classroom, students are fascinated with learning the intricate details about the human body, plant systems, and sustaining the environment.
My students make the most out of the materials they use and always express an interest in having the resources to learn more in the classroom.
My students are bright individuals who pride themselves on coming to class prepared, empowering their classmates, and making a difference inside and out of the classroom. They will be future leaders.
I am a first-year teacher seeking help with building a classroom library for her new seventh graders. I want to show my students the importance of literacy in all content areas and this classroom library will help me achieve that goal. I am dual-certified for English, so I understand the importance of every classroom having a classroom library.
Students will no longer have to rely on the teacher for the gaining of new knowledge thanks to the help of a classroom library.
The teacher will require that students use the library by having them research new and old theories in science through the literature in the classroom. The students will also have the option of gaining extra information when there is downtime in the classroom with the library.
A classroom library makes the classroom because students need to be surrounded by many outlets to receive knowledge. With this classroom library, my students will no longer have to wait for knowledge to be given to them but can seek and find the answers to their questions independently.
