My Project
In my self-contained classroom, we have a wide variety of sensory needs. In order to meet their educational needs, their sensory needs have to be met. In order to do this, we require sensory options to fit each child. This project will help us do just that! Having the means to offer different types of sensory toys including weighted fidgets and lights will increase their ability to have a successful day. Also, reducing harsh classroom lighting and putting string lights in the classroom will offer a more relaxing, calm, environment, welcoming the students in to learn!
