Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items I've requested—stress balls, motivational stickers, posters, and a carpet—are designed to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that caters to the emotional, psychological, and physical well-being of my students. Stress balls provide a tactile outlet for anxiety and stress, helping students focus better during lessons. Motivational stickers and posters serve as positive reinforcement, encouraging resilience, perseverance, and a growth mindset. The carpet adds a comfortable, inviting space for group activities and discussions, fostering a sense of community and making the classroom feel more like a safe, welcoming space. Together, these items help create an environment where students feel supported, motivated, and ready to learn.
The primary goals for this project are to enhance the classroom environment to support emotional regulation, promote positive behavior, and foster a sense of belonging among students.
By providing tools that help students manage stress, encouraging them with motivational messages, and creating a cozy space for collaborative learning, I aim to increase student engagement, improve focus, and cultivate a positive classroom culture that supports academic and personal growth.
My students are special because they bring diverse perspectives, experiences, and strengths to the classroom. They are resilient, eager to learn, and full of potential. Each student has unique needs, and they thrive in an environment that not only challenges them academically but also supports their emotional and social well-being. They are curious, creative, and capable of great things when they feel understood and valued. This project is designed to help them unlock their full potential by providing an environment that meets their individual needs and celebrates their unique qualities.
