My Project
I am looking for donations for my physical education program because I believe that the right resources can make a huge difference in the lives of my students. I teach in a New York City District 75 school, where my elementary students face a variety of challenges that impact their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. The items I’m seeking will allow me to build a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom, tailored to their unique needs.
With specialized equipment such as adaptive sports gear, sensory tools, and physical activity stations, I can help my students improve their motor skills, coordination, and overall fitness.
These resources will make it easier for them to participate in physical education activities, building their confidence while also creating a space where students feel safe to express themselves and have fun while staying active.
My goal for this project is to create a physical education environment where every student can thrive, regardless of their abilities. I want to ensure they have the same opportunities as any other child to learn the value of physical activity, develop healthy habits, and build social skills.
My students inspire me to be a better teacher, and I want to give them a learning environment that reflects their potential and supports their growth. With the right tools, I believe I can change their lives and help them develop further, both inside and outside the classroom.
