Building a Modern Band Class in West Philly

Help me give my students the instruments they need to form bands in class to play R&B, Pop, and Hip-Hop.

My Project

Hello! We've received a classroom set of guitars and we're trying to diversify our instruments so that our students can get to jamming R&B, Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop, Etc.....

I have 6 classes of about 20 kids each and often times the kids will get excited about a song and a few kids will want to play bass guitar on it, but we currently only have one bass guitar.

Or the kids will be excited about being a drummer, but we only have one acoustic drum set. (I hobbled together a second bass drum and tom but the bass drum doesn't even have a kick)....

The organizing equipment, label maker, and printer is going to allow us to ask ourselves, "What song are we in love with?" And then print out music for those songs for each of the people in the band! My students are making amazing music already, but with these instruments, equipment, and organizing tools, you can help us take our music making to the next level! We appreciate you!
