Building a Love of Science

Help me give my students the love of science with science kits to explore science, experimentation, and the creative process.

My Project

My students are from many different backgrounds including rural and low-income. My students are curious and eager to learn. Many of my students have overcome difficult challenges, and never give up. My students are kind, smart, and courageous. I would love to provide my students with the opportunity to explore and learn through science. Science encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking, while also building a foundation for future scientific understanding. Through hands-on activities, children learn to observe, experiment, and draw conclusions, all while developing important motor skills and communication abilities. Children are naturally curious, and science provides opportunities for them to explore their world, ask questions, and seek answers. Engaging in science experiments and activities makes learning more interactive and memorable. Science in kindergarten is vital for

fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.

Science helps children understand the world around them through hands-on exploration, developing essential skills like observation, prediction, and problem-solving. My goal is to provide my students with the opportunity to complete science projects and gain an understanding of new concepts to help boost their self-esteem and confidence.
