My Project
I’m starting my third year teaching and my first in 3rd grade at a new school! My classroom library needs an update to match my students’ growing reading skills.
Independent reading is one of the most important parts of our day because it helps students build reading skills that impact all areas of learning.
Plus, it’s a chance for them to get cozy with books they love.
This project will add popular chapter book series like Dog Man, Ivy and Bean, and The Babysitters Club, along with comfy floor pillows to make reading time inviting.
Since I’m new to this school, I want to create a warm, welcoming space where students feel excited to read from day one. Your support will make that possible!
