My Project
As a first-year teacher, I am trying my best to garage sale, thrift, and save for a classroom library that reflects the beautiful diversity of my students and the world around them. This project includes books that celebrate different historical figures, cultures, and spark creativity and imagination.
I believe books are more than just stories; they are mirrors to yourself and doors to the places you dream of going.
I want my students to be excited for our read-alouds and eager to learn how to read. This classroom library, I believe, will foster an inclusive, engaging environment where students are excited to hear/read the next story together.
