Help me give my students a variety of books to read and explore! Our diverse classroom is filled with motivated readers of various reading levels who are eager to have the chance to experience new books.
Our school is a Title I school located in the melting pot of Queens, NY. Students of all different backgrounds and abilities attend our school from grades Pre-K to 8th grade. This is a very special thing because we as educators get to see these students learn and grow each year, both academically and socially.
Your donation to this project will not only increase student achievement, but you will help launch a love for books and reading, which is so important at this age in Kindergarten.
Students will have an opportunity to explore new books about different topics and spark an interest in different cultures, ideas, and learning to read. I want my students to have as much access to books as possible in order to set a foundation for their learning as they move on through school.
