This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having a library of varied texts that can grab the interest of young readers is important for a reading classroom. Students need books that they can connect with as they grow their reading skills. These books and additional space for the books will increase our classroom library. Students really like to have choices when it comes to reading. They want to be able to read into history or fantasy and open doors to many places, things, or people.

With pages of literacy that will capture the hearts and minds of students, these books and the library space will contribute to student success.

These pages will allow students to connect with themselves and the world around them. A library that is well read makes a path for future leaders.
