My Students
We are working to ensure that all athletes at Waggener High school have access to quality footballs to be able to practice their craft and have the confidence in our program.
Partner with us as we attempt to restore the Passion and Pride that once stood at Waggener HS!
Our school is 88% free or reduced lunch.
However, we have a group of students who are rich, rich in culture, desire, and work ethic. The students have a great desire to improve themselves academically, physically, and mentally. The majority of our students are bussed into our school from the downtown regions of the city, with 66% African American, 28% Caucasian, 6% Hispanic.
My Project
The footballs will be used daily in practice for throwing drills, catching drills, running drills, and kicking drills. We will use the ball as our game balls and rotate into practice balls as the season continues. Footballs are one of our most extreme yearly budget item.
Our students strongly desire a pathway to exit their current lifestyle and attempt to change their families lives for the generations to follow.
We teach each student that just one person can change their families pathway forever!
