This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

So far my students have been engaged in several book studies, such as Wonder, Rebound (the Crossover Series), & White Bird, which have all been added to build their home library. A novel study allows kids to develop their reading comprehension and thinking skills through high-quality literature. It lets them practice and refine their skills related to the standards in a much more engaging format than the typical reading textbook. A novel study is an opportunity to build a love of reading.

Additionally, student will be able to add this book to their home library.

Having books in the home is proven to positively benefit children in a myriad of ways. A mere presence of a home library may increase children's academic success, vocabulary development, attention and job attainment. Along with increase awareness and expand horizons.
