My Project

Being an inclusion special education teacher allows me to provide individualized and small-group instruction to all students in my classroom, those with and without disabilities. These students have different needs and these materials are essential to meeting the needs of all of them. The bookshelf will be used to display books and materials in a visually appealing way, creating easy access for students, and a stimulating learning environment. Having a place to store and display books gives students access to books. Giving students access to different types of books will increase their literacy skills and joy of reading.

Having a colored printer will allow me to create visual aids and print individualized learning materials such as adapted books and materials that accommodate the diverse learning styles of my students.

A computer allows students to have access to learning platforms and other assistive technology tools. The laminator and pouches will make the materials created more durable, reusable, and engaging for students. Many of the students do not have access to headphones which provide them with auditory access to instruction, books, and learning resources on the computer. The electric pencil sharpener in our classroom is broken and we could really use a new one for all those pencil emergencies. Thanks for supporting us in reaching our educational goals.
