My Project
The new materials will make a difference in student learning by helping to more effectively target a wide range of goals—from articulation to expressive language—in a fun, hands-on, and engaging way. A new school year is an opportunity for a fresh start, and I am seeking to create a more dynamic, interactive, and engaging therapy environment to meet the unique needs of each of my students.
I want to to create a dynamic and interactive therapy environment and to more effectively target a wide range of communication skills.
Speech and language therapy is most effective when it is fun and hands-on. Many of my students, especially the younger ones, learn best through play and multisensory activities. With a new set of interactive materials, I can more effectively target a wide range of goals—from articulation and phonological awareness to expressive language, vocabulary, and social communication skills. These materials will help me capture and maintain student attention, reduce therapy fatigue, and make the learning process a joyful experience.
My students are special because they are a diverse group who learn best through play and multisensory activities, making interactive materials essential for their success.
