My Project
Creating a classroom library that reflects my students' diverse backgrounds is essential to fostering a sense of belonging and encouraging a love for reading. By including a wide range of books that represent different cultures, identities, and experiences, I want every student to see themselves in the stories they read. Along with this, cozy furniture like bean bag chairs and organized bookshelves will help transform a corner of our classroom into a warm, inviting reading space. This setup shows students that their comfort and experiences matter, and that reading is not just educational—it’s something to enjoy and feel connected to.
