it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class is filled with students with a wide range of skills and abilities, not different from many classrooms around the country. One of the ways that I address this is by using collaboration in my reteaching.
Whenever it was time to reteach a skill to a couple of students, I would have to answer this question; "What part of the room can I go to with these three to five students?" Before reteaching begins, I would have students combine their desks or swap seats with others in order for me to get the right group of kids together.
Getting ready would take up a lot of teaching time. With the activity table and chairs, I would be able to build an area of the classroom that is dedicated to reteaching a small group.
