This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Pre-K students are curious, eager to learn, and ready to embark on their reading journey. I want to create a cozy, inviting area where children can explore books and develop their language skills.
Our cozy library area will encourage independent reading, help develop literacy skills, and provide an opportunity for quiet reflection and discovery.
A new bookshelf will help to organize our collection of books.
A variety of books, including ABC books, and books that reflect different cultures and communities will help support early literacy for our young learners.
