This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This school year I am teaching an amazing group of 5th grade students. My class consists of some English Language Learners and SPED students who are eager to learn. My students come from different backgrounds and perform at different academic levels.
My Project
These resources will help my students learn valuable life lessons about perseverance, creativity, and the importance of having a growth mindset. Picture books are a great way to start discussions and various topics. They also provide relatable characters and situations which help to keep students engaged.
With the support of the amazing resources available on Teachers Pay Teachers and the incredible stories, I plan to read to my students, the learning possibilities are endless!
