Building a Classroom STEM Library Part 2

Help me give my students picture books that are focused on science, technology, engineering, and math.

My Project

My school is in the city of Los Angeles and serves very diverse students with many different languages represented.

These students come from both middle-income homes and low-income homes, with different levels of parental support.

As we look forward to the new school year, it is my goal to expand my classroom library by adding books that focus on STEM. Doing so will help support our weekly engineering challenges where my students learn more about how the world works through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

My classroom focus on STEM allows my students to build problem-solving skills, creativity, innovation, and collaboration. It also provides insight into the perseverance and experimentation that is necessary for advancements in the STEM fields.

As our world changes and grows, we are constantly moving towards careers centered in S.T.E.M. It is my goal to begin working towards that future success at an early age.
