Building a Classroom Library!

My Students

My students come from various socioeconomic, race, religious, and cultural backgrounds. They come to our classroom every day excited about learning! My students love learning and engaging in meaningful activities.

The students in my class love reading and enjoy reading books that match their various interests and curiosities!

As a second-year teacher in North Carolina, I am still actively growing the resources I have to best support, my students. One major part of a classroom is in the library. As a teacher of various leveled readers with many different interests, I need lots of different leveled books to make sure my students are engaged while reading. Your donation will help 20 students read brand-new books at their level every day in class. I am asking for different boxes of books for my classroom library so my students will have engaging materials to read for their independent reading.

Whether they be fiction or non-fiction these books will help my students continue to practice skills taught in the classroom as well as build their love for reading!

Thank you for helping me grow our classroom library so our students can read more!

My Project

One major part of a classroom is in the library. As a teacher of various leveled readers with many different interests, I need lots of different leveled books to make sure my students are engaged while reading. Your donation will help 20 students read brand-new books at their level every day in class. These books will remain in my classroom library and be available to 1st graders for years to come. I am asking for a starter set of a 1st-grade book collection at levels H and I for my classroom library so my students will have engaging materials to read for their independent reading.
