Dear Donors,

Aloha!

I'm a new teacher in Hawai'i, and I'm incredibly excited to be here, ready to inspire and educate my students. I'm passionate about fostering a love of reading, but I've discovered my classroom library is in need of some serious expansion.

Many of my students come from diverse backgrounds and have limited access to books at home. I believe that a rich and engaging classroom library is essential for their academic growth and personal development. I want to provide them with a wide variety of books that reflect their experiences, spark their imaginations, and ignite their curiosity about the world around them.

I'm seeking your generous support to build a vibrant and diverse classroom library. With your help, I can provide my students with:

High-interest books: Books that capture their attention and make reading enjoyable.

Culturally relevant books: Books that reflect the unique experiences and cultures of Hawai'i and beyond.

Diverse genres: A variety of fiction, non-fiction, and graphic novels to cater to different interests and reading levels.

Books to build literacy skills: Books that support vocabulary development, comprehension, and fluency.

Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in the lives of my students. You'll be helping me create a welcoming and engaging learning environment where every child has the opportunity to discover the magic of reading.
