My Project
I teach 3rd grade at a small school. This year I will have 30 friends in my classroom. I am looking at setting up a fun writing station in our classroom. I have a table for this but am lacking many other essential items. We need seating, multicultural coloring items, and prompts to help start the writing process.
With the tools in this project, I will be able to meet with small groups to help their writing flourish.
The prompts will help ease the writer’s block that many students have. The sharpening station next to the table will help keep tools fresh. The multicultural drawing tools will help us illustrate their stories in all skin tones.
