Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in desperate need of learning materials that help keep them clean, safe and promote community building.

They will use these materials to work on their SEL and community building in the classroom.

We are out of Kleenex and hand sanitizer so the students need those to stay clean and wipe their noses.

In order to work on our classroom SEL we will use the SPOT books including the teacher guide. In order to build our reading and math fluency as well as teamwork, we are requesting a literacy center and multiple math games.

To help the students keep their individual math supplies organized, we are asking for envelopes to put them in with zippers. My students also need headphones for when they are working on centers and using the school laptops. Finally, we are requesting some non fiction classroom library books to enhance our nonfiction book selection.

In order to encourage positive behavior in the classroom, we are requesting some new prize box items to keep them motivated.
