Building a Care Cart: Hygiene Essentials for Students
Help me give my students essential hygiene items, including menstrual products and other necessities, to support their well-being and ensure they have the resources they need for a healthy, confident school experience.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As we work to foster a supportive and inclusive learning space, it’s vital that all students have access to the hygiene essentials they need. This project will establish a "Care Cart" stocked with menstrual products, toiletries, and other key items to ensure every girl feels comfortable, confident, and ready to learn. Your contribution will help keep the cart stocked, directly benefiting the well-being of the students in our classroom.
My goal is to create an easily accessible resource that empowers girls to focus on their education without worrying about personal needs.
By providing these vital products, we aim to support both their physical well-being and academic success.
Despite coming from diverse backgrounds, our students share a strong drive to succeed. With the right resources, we can help remove barriers they face and nurture an environment where they thrive—emotionally and academically."
