My Project
In our classroom, every student is a brave knight facing daily battles—some seen, some unseen. Many of our students experience challenges related to behavior, focus, emotional regulation, and neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism. These challenges can make it difficult for them to stay on task, communicate their needs, or fully engage with learning.
To better support our brave knights, we are building a Calm Oasis -a safe, structured, and calming environment equipped with the tools they need to succeed.
A MacBook is needed to track behavior data, create individualized behavior plans, and design visual and digital supports that meet students where they are. We are also requesting books that highlight the experiences of neurodivergent learners to help foster empathy, self-awareness, and understanding among all students.
With your support, we can provide both the practical tools and the emotional encouragement our students need to reset, refocus, and rise—just like the courageous knights they are.
