Building a Brighter Learning Space for Second Graders

Help me give my students a vibrant, comfortable, and collaborative learning space with a colorful group table and child-sized chairs designed just for them.

My Project

My students are energetic, curious, and eager to learn every day. They thrive in a classroom environment that is engaging, organized, and built just for them. To help foster their learning, I am requesting a Lakeshore Rainbow Adjustable Group Table and chairs. These additions will create a collaborative and colorful learning space that supports small-group instruction, peer interaction, and hands-on learning. Right now, our classroom furniture is a mismatch of worn-out desks and chairs that are too big or too small for my students.

The group table is designed with young learners in mind, encouraging teamwork and making it easier for me to work with small groups during lessons.

My close proximity to student work makes it easy to provide students with feedback and assistance. The vibrant, kid-sized chairs are lightweight, stackable, and durable—perfect for a busy second-grade classroom.

Creating a space that fits their physical needs helps students feel safe, valued, and ready to learn. With your support, we can build a brighter, more inclusive environment where every child can shine.
