Building a Bright Beginning for 24 Tiny Learners!

Help me give my students a painting center, sensory table, puppet theater, light table, and storage carts to spark creativity, support sensory exploration, and make our classroom a joyful space for social-emotional growth and learning through play.

My Project

I’m thrilled to be welcoming 24 curious, energetic, and joyful Transitional Kindergarten (TK) students this year! These amazing 3-4 year-olds are just beginning their educational journey, and this year will be their very first experience in a classroom setting. Many of my students come from diverse backgrounds, and for some, this will be their first time away from home. My classroom will be a place where they feel safe, loved, and ready to learn and grow!

Starting a brand-new TK classroom means starting from scratch... every bin, book, and block makes a difference.

I’m building a nurturing, engaging environment that sparks imagination and encourages hands-on learning. I’m requesting essential materials such as:

-Creative Play Centers (puppet theater and puppet stand)

-Gross Motor Play (mini trampoline for movement breaks and self-regulation)

-Music & Movement (musical instruments, activity scarves)

-Literacy and Math (tactile letters and numbers)

-Organizational Tools (storage bins, 2-tier carts)

-Social-Emotional Supports (puppet theatre, puppet stand)

-Art & Sensory Materials (painting center and cups, drying rack, sensory table, sand, tabletop light panel and manipulatives)

These tools will help create an environment where students learn through play, build foundational skills, and develop a love for learning. Your donation helps lay the groundwork for academic, social, and emotional success in school, and beyond.

The early years are full of wonder. TK is more than just learning letters and numbers, it's about learning how to be part of a classroom community, to share, to express feelings, and to explore the world around them with joy and confidence. With your support, we can turn an empty space into a magical world of learning for 24 incredible little humans.
