Help me give my students D’Addario reeds/mouthpieces, Rico reeds, Emerald oboe reeds, ligatures, and Paititi trumpet mouthpieces for playing wind instruments. These are the musical materials they will need to put on an amazing spring concert!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The school Bands are putting on their annual Spring Concert this May and are in need of essential materials to aid in their success! The bands are made up of very passionate over 120 musicians from grades 6 through 12.
Each of our band ensembles have grown significantly in size this school year and the students are in need of many additional materials.
Reeds are an essential material to play the clarinet, bass clarinet, all saxophones, and oboe, and unfortunately reeds only last about a month before they break or need to be replaced. Having the highest quality reeds such as Rico, D’Addario and Emerald, will not only help students play their instruments, but it will help them play with the most beautiful sounds possible.
Along with reeds, leather clarinet ligatures will help improve the sound quality and technique of our clarinetists. Additionally, gold plated Paititi trumpet mouthpieces will allow our most advanced trumpet players grow to new levels with such high quality mouthpieces.
