My Students
My inclusive first grade classroom is full of 26 enthusiastic students who come to school eager to learn on a daily basis. These students that arrive daily come from a variety of backgrounds, incomes, developmental milestones and learning abilities all while striving for success.
My Project
The use of technology in a primary classroom is becoming more and more of a need due to the state's standards, employability skills, differentiated and virtual learning. Due to the COVID pandemic and just plain hardships, many of our Title 1 school families are struggling to provide the basic needs for their families, let alone purchase school supplies. First graders need to feel independent and successful without worrying why they don't have the needed supplies. These headphones and mice will allow the students to work on their Chromebooks independently as a whole group. In addition, it will allow me to differentiate lessons for my inclusive students. These trays will allow the Chromebooks to be housed under their chairs for less transition time and easy access throughout the day without having to move about the classroom and create distractions to those working.
